We are currently recruiting for a Communications Assistant to support a busy highways business based in Ipswich.Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in delivering both proactive and reactive communications, acting as a point of contact for public enquiries and complaints while helping to improve customer experience and service perception.
Key responsibilities include:
Handling enquiries and complaints from the public and stakeholders
Supporting communication projects and campaigns
Monitoring customer feedback
Assisting with internal and external communications
Supporting stakeholder engagement and operational teams
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a customer facing role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to handle complaints professionally and empathetically
A proactive and organised approach
