Communications Officer – Maternity Cover 📍 Location: Mansfield ⏳ Hours: Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM 💰 Salary: £25,000 + Maternity Contract
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is excited to be hiring for a Communications Officer to support a well-established business in the KBB industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage communications, digital campaigns, and industry engagement.
About the Role:
As Communications Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing digital campaigns, newsletters, social media, and market research to enhance industry presence. You’ll work closely with media agencies and digital specialists to keep communications fresh, impactful, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to maintain and update industry databases.

Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, newsletters, and podcasts.
*
Manage social media campaigns and digital marketing activities.
*
Keep the company website updated with innovative and informative content.
*
Organize and facilitate webinars and online engagement initiatives.
*
Collaborate with trade press to promote industry updates.
*
Prepare reports and assist in key industry events.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to craft compelling content. ✅ Media, digital marketing, or social media experience (desirable). ✅ A self-starter with ambition, energy, and a drive to succeed. ✅ Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. ✅ Confident in Microsoft products and various digital tools. ✅ Positive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to industry engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
🎓 GCSE English (essential); Media Studies or Journalism (desirable). 📌 Previous experience in digital marketing, content creation, or communications. 📌 Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
