Job Description
Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Communications Officer on a temporary basis for one of our clients based in Selkirk.
As Communications Officer, you’ll help shape how we communicate with our residents, stakeholders, and the wider public. You’ll play a vital role in delivering clear, engaging, and accessible content across a range of channels—from print newsletters and press releases to social media and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
* Create engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels, including web, social media, newsletters, and internal platforms.
* Support the delivery of communications strategies and campaigns that reflect our mission and values.
* Coordinate resident communications and contribute to tenant engagement activities.
* Work with teams across the organisation to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
* Manage social media accounts and support media relations, including drafting press releases and liaising with journalists.
* Help monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications campaigns.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a passion for purposeful communication and strong writing skills. You’ll be creative, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
You’ll bring:
* Proven experience in a communications, PR, or marketing role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong digital and social media knowledge
* A good eye for design and attention to detail
