Community Care Assistant
Annan & Dumfries
£12.60 per hour + 40p per mile | 35 hours per week | Day Shifts | Sponsorship Not Available
A reputable care provider is currently seeking compassionate and committed Community Care Assistants to support service users in the community within the Annan and Dumfries areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin or grow your career in care, working with a supportive and dedicated team to deliver person-centred support to individuals in their own homes.
What the role offers:
Permanent contract - 35 hours per week
Competitive hourly rate of £12.60
Paid mileage at 40p per mile - from the start of your shift to the end
Paid training and ongoing learning and development opportunities

Responsibilities of a Community Care Assistant:
Providing personal care and support to service users in the community
Assisting with medication administration (following training)
Supporting meal preparation and other daily living tasks
Maintaining accurate records and effective communication with the team
Promoting independence and ensuring a high standard of care is delivered
Requirements:
Willingness to work towards an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Full UK Driving Licence (required)
A caring, compassionate nature and a genuine desire to make a difference
Good communication and time management skills
No previous experience necessary - full training provided
