Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) – NHS Agency Contract | North Shropshire
Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting CPN for a full-time agency contract within the NHS in North Shropshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Pay Rates:
£27 per hour (Umbrella)
£21.71 per hour (PAYE, inclusive)
Role Overview:
You will be working as part of a community mental health team, delivering high-quality care to service users with a range of mental health needs.

Job Specification – Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a defined caseload under the Care Programme Approach (CPA)
Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
Developing and implementing care plans and therapeutic interventions
Providing crisis intervention and ongoing support to service users
Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Liaising with GPs, social workers, and other professionals
Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with NHS standards
Supporting recovery-focused, person-centred care
Supervising junior staff and student nurses where required
