Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse
Location: Shrewsbury – NHS Community Mental Health Team
Contract Type: Temporary Agency
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate:
Umbrella: £26/hour
PAYE: £20.93/hourJob Overview: Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join an NHS team in Shrewsbury. This is a temporary agency contract offering full-time hours in a dynamic and supportive community mental health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality mental health care to service users in the community.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans.
Act as a care coordinator for a defined caseload.
Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor progress.
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies.
Participate in duty rota and respond to urgent mental health needs.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.Requirements:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a community mental health setting.
Strong assessment and risk management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
