As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide individualized support to a range of differnt students in the community, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. Working in various community settings such as community centres, learning hubs, or sports facilities, you will create nurturing environments that encourage engagement and confidence. Collaboration is key; you will work alongside specialist tutors and fellow teaching assistants to deliver tailored educational experiences. Additionally, you may be required to transport students between learning sites or from their homes (mileage expenses covered).
Who We Are Looking For

Whether your experience stems from traditional teaching assistants, mentoring, youth work, coaching, tutoring, support work, or similar roles, your passion and dedication are what matter most. We are open to a range of experience levelsbut qualifications in teaching and support are a bonus; after 6 months in the role, we offer a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant course, enhancing your skills.
