Company Accountant / Finance Manager – Falmouth – Temporary
💰 Pay: £20–£27 per hour (negotiable for the right person)
📍 Location: Falmouth – Office-based
🕒 Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (hours potentially flexible/ negotiable)

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a flexible, impactful role? Confident producing management accounts and providing valuable financial insight? This opportunity in Falmouth could be the perfect fit.
Carrington Wood has been engaged to support with the appointment of a capable and hands-on Company Accountant / Finance Manager to join a well-established business on a temporary basis (2–3 months initially), with strong potential for extension or even a temp-to-perm arrangement.
This is a varied role with real scope to add value, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SME environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Producing monthly management accounts with detailed analysis
✔ Preparing and managing cashflow forecasts
✔ Full profit and loss reporting
✔ Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
✔ Managing accruals and invoice processing
✔ Supporting internal projects with financial insight and reporting
✔ Liaising with senior stakeholders to inform business decisions
What We’re Looking For:
💡 Proven experience in a similar role (Company Accountant, Finance Manager, or equivalent)
💡 Strong technical knowledge
💡 Confident with cashflow forecasting, reconciliations, and month-end processes
💡 Able to work independently in a part-time role
💡 Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
