The Role – Complex Needs Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Complex Needs Teacher to join a specialist SEN school based in Hillingdon on a long-term, full-time basis from September. As a Complex Needs Teacher, you will lead a small class of students with a range of needs including ASD, PMLD, sensory processing challenges and physical disabilities.
You will be responsible for planning personalised, engaging and multi-sensory lessons, working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support each pupil’s learning, communication, and wellbeing. The successful candidate must hold QTS or QTLS, have experience working with complex needs, and be confident using alternative communication tools such as Makaton or PECS.
