Job Title: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Kensington and Chelsea
Salary: £85 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
GSL Education is currently seeking a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties in a special school in Kensington and Chelsea.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or group support to students with physical and learning disabilities.
Assist with personal care, feeding (including PEG feeding), and therapy exercises.
Help create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment.
Collaborate with class teachers, therapists, and support staff.
Ideal Profile:
Previous experience in a SEN setting, ideally with PMLD or SLD.
Training or familiarity with manual handling, PEG, or personal care is desirable.
Patient, reliable and committed to safeguarding pupil wellbeing.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
