Position: Complex Care Nurse - Lead - Learning Disabilities
Location: Hull
Salary: £45,000 per annum
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Care Nurse to join our team as a Lead Nurse. Our organization provides care and support to adults and children with learning disabilities and complex needs in the community. This is a permanent, office-based role with occasional community visits to provide support and guidance to our care team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained
Provide clinical leadership and support to the care team
Develop and maintain care plans for clients with complex needs
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures
Liaise with external healthcare professionals and agencies
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations
Participate in recruitment, training, and appraisals of care staffRequirements:
Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or complex needs
Strong clinical and leadership skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of CQC regulations and standardsBenefits:
