As a Compliance Coordinator, you’ll provide vital support to the Executive Support Manager in managing various operational areas and projects. You will play an integral part in coordinating processes, supporting system improvements, managing compliance, and facilitating successful project delivery.
Job Title: Compliance Coordinator
Salary: £34,500 to £36,700
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 5pm
Location: Redhill, with occasional travel to South Croydon
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Coordination: Ensure the smooth coordination and execution of operational processes, assisting with the introduction of new systems and swiftly resolving issues.
* Data Management & Reporting: Collect, input, and analyse data to prepare reports, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Maintain databases and spreadsheets to support operational efficiency.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Support compliance efforts by working with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, including those related to Health & Safety and Data Protection. Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, including FOI and subject access requests.
* Project Support: Help coordinate and track internal projects, ensuring deadlines are met, providing updates, and acting as a point of contact for stakeholders.
* Contract & Procurement Oversight: Liaise with suppliers and external partners to support day-to-day operations. Maintain accurate contract records and support procurement activities in line with current regulations.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., IT, Finance, HR) and external agencies to ensure smooth operational delivery.
* Professional Engagement: Maintain a professional approach, foster effective working relationships, and contribute to efficient team organisation and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need:
* Experience working in a compliance-focused role.
* Able to evidence experience of working in a compliance led environment or field.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
* A qualification in Health & Safety, Audit, or Data Protection (desirable).
* Good organisation and time management skills.
* Equality & Diversity Level 2 (or willing to obtain).
* Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults (or willing to obtain).
* Maths & English GCSE (or equivalent).
