Job Description

Compliance Manager (Electrical & Lifts) Location: Teddington Salary: £56,583 + excellent benefits Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to take ownership of electrical and lift safety across their housing portfolio. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the named responsible person, ensuring services remain safe, compliant, and resident-focused. What you’ll be doing: Leading on compliance for electrical and lift services, making sure all regulatory and legislative standards are met. Providing expert guidance, training, and technical support across the business. Managing contractors and consultants, ensuring work is delivered on time, to budget, and to a high standard. Carrying out inspections, chairing performance meetings, and driving continuous improvement. Supporting procurement with performance specifications and overseeing budgets. Championing resident safety, ensuring clear and timely communication.What we’re looking for: Strong background in compliance management, ideally in social housing. Knowledge of electrical and lift legislation, with qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ 3 in Electrical Discipline and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Experience using data to analyse performance and influence decision-making. A collaborative leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Commitment to continuous professional development (membership of NICEIC/NAPIT or a relevant body would be a bonus).The benefits: 29 days annual leave + bank holidays £360 annual wellbeing allowance.
