Compliance Manager
Salary: circa £50,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | 37 hours/week

Our well-established client is looking for an experienced and proactive Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) Manager to join their growing team. Based at their Leatherhead office, this is a key role reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Your Responsibilities:
* Compliance & Accreditation:
Maintain and improve their adherence to ISO standards and key registrations
* Policies & Procedures:
Develop, review, and implement robust SHEQ policies
* Audits & Inspections:
Conduct internal audits; manage external audit prep and respond to findings.
* Training & Awareness:
Lead training on SHEQ policies and ensure team-wide understanding and engagement.
* Risk & Documentation:
Maintain detailed compliance records and carry out scheduled testing, audits, and risk assessments.
* Collaboration:
Act as the go-to person for SHEQ, working closely with all departments to drive improvement
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
* Degree-qualified, ideally with NEBOSH Certification (minimum requirement)
* 3–5 years’ experience in a compliance or SHEQ role within construction or engineering
* Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
* Skilled in MS Office, ATLAS, SharePoint, Sage, and CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
* Able to work independently and influence at all levels
