We are delighted to be working with a long-established and respected compliance services provider that is expanding its team. They are now looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Monitoring Technician to join their growing operation.

You’ll be working across a wide variety of client sites – including commercial, industrial, retail, and public sector settings – carrying out essential monitoring and testing to ensure safety standards are met and exceeded.

The Role
As a Compliance Monitoring Technician, you’ll act as a key surveyor of air and water quality, carrying out assessments to ensure clients remain compliant with key regulations and standards. Your work will cover areas such as:
* Legionella monitoring and control in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
* Ventilation surveys in accordance with BS EN 15780 and TR19 (training provided).
* Planned preventative maintenance tasks, including:
* Temperature monitoring of water systems.
* Shower cleans and descaling.
* Inspection of cold water tanks, calorifiers, and thermostatic mixer valves.
* Water sampling for microbiological analysis.
* Supporting clean and disinfection works alongside the surveying team.
You’ll also liaise directly with clients, keeping them updated on progress and providing clear recommendations where non-conformances are identified. Your attention to detail will ensure that all findings are recorded accurately using a digital compliance system, and that every site is left safe, clean, and compliant.
This is a varied role that requires excellent time management, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You’ll be trusted to plan your workload, maintain your equipment, and represent the company professionally while building positive client relationships.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with hot and cold water systems, with a strong technical understanding of compliance standards.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot potential risks or non-conformances.
* Confidence liaising with clients and site representatives in a professional manner.
* Strong organisational skills to manage workloads and travel between sites efficiently.
* A willingness to learn and grow – full training is available for ventilation surveying and compliance-specific skills.
