Job Description

Job Title: Compliance Officer (Building Compliance)

Location: East of England / Hybrid

Contract: 6-months ongoing (potential permanent)

Pay: Inside IR35 - Negotiable

A large housing provider is seeking an experienced Gas Compliance Officer to support the management and delivery of domestic gas compliance across a significant residential housing portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

Managing landlord gas safety compliance programmes
• Monitoring contractor performance and compliance delivery
• Managing no-access procedures and compliance records
• Investigating compliance issues, incidents and customer complaints
• Ensuring statutory gas safety obligations are met
• Liaising with contractors, surveyors, housing teams and residents
• Maintaining accurate compliance databases and reporting information

Qualifications/Experience

• Gas compliance experience within housing, local authority or social housing environments
• Strong understanding of landlord gas safety requirements and compliance processes
• Experience managing contractors and compliance programmes
• Knowledge of servicing, repairs, certification and compliance monitoring
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills
