Compliance Officer - Recruitment Team (Manchester)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum with monthly bonuses
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 7am-4pm, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm (flexible)
Hybrid Working: 2 days WFH after successful probationary period
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Compliance Officer to join our Manchester recruitment team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative or compliance experience who can work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest safeguarding standards.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the full compliance and safeguarding process for all education candidates
Conducting and recording DBS checks, references, right-to-work, and full vetting
Ensuring all documentation meets industry, legal, and company standards
Maintaining accurate, audit-ready compliance files
Communicating effectively with candidates, consultants, and external bodies
Working to clear candidates within required timeframes and supporting wider team operations
Requirements
Previous experience in a compliance or administration role is essential
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
A proactive, solution-focused mindset
