Job Title: Composite Inspector – Nights (Tues - Friday: 5pm - 03:30am)
Location: Northamptonshire
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £53,000 + £3,000 shift allowance
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Composite Inspector to join a high-performance engineering environment on the night shift. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring composite components meet the highest quality standards, working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain precision and reliability across all builds.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of composite components.
Check conformity of parts against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Use inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, calipers, and gauges.
Record inspection results, maintain traceability, and escalate non-conformances.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve quality issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection methods and processes.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Composite Inspector within motorsport or high-performance engineering.
Strong understanding of composite materials, lay-up, and inspection techniques.
Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical data.
Skilled in using precision measurement tools.
Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
