Job Description
Overview:
We are currently recruiting experienced Composite Laminators and Composite Trimmers to support a leading Motorsport / Formula 1 project based in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performance environment working on cutting-edge composite components.
Key Responsibilities:
Composite Laminator:
• Laminating composite components using pre-preg materials
• Working from engineering drawings and lay-up manuals
• Vacuum bagging and preparation of composite parts
• Ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process
• Working to tight deadlines within a fast-paced motorsport environment
Composite Trimmer:
• Trimming, finishing and fitting composite components
• Using hand and air tools to achieve high-quality finishes
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Inspecting completed parts for quality and accuracy
• Supporting assembly and fitment activities where required
Requirements:
• Proven Motorsport / Formula 1 composite experience
• Previous experience within a composite manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to start ASAP
