Job Description
We’re currently looking to recruit a Composite Trimmer (Nights) for a permanent position based at our F1 client’s headquarters in Silverstone.
Role Details
Position: Composite Trimmer – Nights
Location: Silverstone
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 17:00 – 03:30
Salary: Up to £55,000 base (DOE) + £3,000 night shift allowanceKey Responsibilities
Trim, fit, and bond carbon fibre components to engineering drawings and specifications.
Assemble moulds, jigs, and fixtures as required.
Apply extensive knowledge of structural bonding to ensure work meets company standards.
Deliver components accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality within set deadlines.
Support the wider team and assist across the department when needed.Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience in composite trimming/fitting within F1 or high-level motorsport.
Strong attention to detail with a methodical, quality-driven approach.
Confident working to tight deadlines and with minimal supervision.
Flexible, proactive, and a genuine team player.
