Location: Watford (covering London, Home Counties & East of England)
Salary: £40,000+ (flexible DOE – up to £50,000 for experienced engineers)

About the Company:
A highly reputable and established engineering company, known for delivering exceptional service and support in the industrial compressed air and pneumatics sector. With a strong client base across London and the Home Counties, the company is looking to expand its field engineering team with a skilled and self-sufficient Compressor Engineer.
Role Overview:
This is a field-based role, ideal for an experienced engineer who can hit the ground running. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of air compressor systems with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair of rotary screw, piston, vane, and scroll compressors
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on-site and resolve issues efficiently
* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive call-outs
* Perform pipework installations and system upgrades as required
* Offer technical advice and support to clients on compressed air systems
* Complete service reports and documentation accurately
* Communicate with the office team to manage schedules and parts
* Participate in call-out rota (1 week every 7 weeks)
Experience & Skills Required:
* Proven experience working on industrial air compressors
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
* Field service background within engineering or pneumatic environments
* Self-sufficient and able to manage your own workload
* Full UK Driving Licence essential
* F-Gas qualification desirable but not essential
What’s on Offer:
* Salary: Circa £40,000 with flexibility depending on experience, this can be flexibe
* Travel Pay: Paid door-to-door
* Vehicle & Tools: Company van and tools provided
* Call-out Rota: 1 week in 7 (no weekend work outside of this)
* Overtime: Available – paid at 1.5x Saturdays and 2x Sundays
* Location: Field-based covering London, Home Counties, and East of England
