About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at our Ofsted Good rated secondary school in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who wants to inspire the next generation of digital innovators and problem solvers.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5), fostering a love for computing and digital technologies. As part of the role, full planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities are expected.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Computer Science in line with the national curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing feedback to support improvement.
Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high expectations and positive behaviour.
Contribute to the wider school community and department development.
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for computing and technology.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
