Are you a passionate and innovative Computer Science Teacher ready to inspire students from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level? An Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Shrewsbury is seeking a dynamic individual to join their thriving Computing department. This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to teach across KS3 to KS5 with the potential to take on a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR).
About the Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3, KS4 (GCSE), and KS5 (A-Level)

Foster a love for computing and digital technologies through creative and effective teaching
*
Support student progress with a focus on problem-solving and real-world application
*
Contribute to the development of the department and participate in extracurricular activities
*
Opportunity to take on a TLR for candidates with leadership ambitions
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for candidates who:

Hold a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field

Have QTS or PGCE with relevant secondary teaching experience

Are confident teaching Computer Science across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level specifications

Show enthusiasm for curriculum development and extracurricular enrichment

Salary
