Computer Science Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term
Location: Watford
Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

We’re working with a fantastic secondary school in Watford that’s looking for a Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September. This is a long-term, full-time role with great support, resources, and opportunities to grow.

What the role involves:
Delivering engaging, well-structured Computer Science lessons
Helping students develop their coding and problem-solving skills
Marking and assessing work, and tracking progress
Keeping the computer lab organised and well-equipped
Working with colleagues on curriculum planning and resource sharing
Getting involved in the wider school community
What they’re looking for:
Ideally, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (but open to strong candidates without it)
Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
Solid understanding of the Computer Science curriculum
A positive, hands-on approach to teaching
Strong classroom management and great communication skills
A current Enhanced DBS on the update service—or willingness to get one
