Location: Wirral
Start Date: September 2025
Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (Potential to go Permanent)
Daily Rate: Up to £223.62 (Depending on Experience)
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school on the Wirral, who are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is a long-term position teaching Computer Science up to Key Stage 5 (KS5), including programming modules, with the exciting potential for the role to become permanent.
Our client school is a successful community school which provides a fully comprehensive education for 11-19-year-old students achieving excellent outcomes for all their learners. Our client is an innovative school and was the first school locally to be recognised as a (email address removed) centre of excellence which has supported the school to build excellent links with universities and complete at a national level in STEM related competitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3 to KS5
Teach programming and computational thinking effectively
Monitor student progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the Computer Science curriculumRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Specialism or strong experience in Computer Science
Experience teaching up to A-Level (KS5) desirable
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java
