ABC Teachers is currently recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Science Supply Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Solihull from September 2025. This is a long-term, full-time position, with pay in line with the M1 – M6 pay scales. Located in the heart of Solihull, this well-regarded secondary school is known for its high academic standards, inclusive ethos, and strong emphasis on digital literacy and innovation. The role:
Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Computer Science
Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
Long-term role beginning September 2025, with potential to become permanent
Supportive leadership team and excellent departmental resources
Requirements
The successful Computer Science Teacher will have;
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Have recent experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to student progress
Be confident managing classroom behaviour and engaging a range of learners
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
