James Ray Recruitment is working closely with a secondary school based within the area of Stockport for a Computer Science Teacher. The school is a highly known school with a outstanding background of high achieving pupils. They are seeking a Computer Science teacher to join their school in November 2025 , to fulfil a position up to the end of the academic year – July 2026, with the possibility of it extending into the next academic year – September 2026.
This is a full-time timetable, and the successful candidate will be expected to fulfil all aspects of the role including preparation, assessing and implementing curriculum. Attending parent’s events and completing end of year reports.
The salary for this role will be negotiated based upon experience, as the school are open to support the right candidate.
Who is the ideal candidate?
* Have experience teaching Computer Science in Key Stage 3 upto Key stage 5
* Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.
* Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to a team.
* Willingness to show commitment to the school's vision and values.
* Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the students.
