Job Description
Teaching Personnel are seeking an inspiring and committed Computer Science Teacher to join the team at a high-performing, well-respected secondary school in Cheshire. This fixed-term position will start in the New Year and offers the chance to work within a dynamic and innovative department in a school renowned for its strong community ethos, excellent academic results, and commitment to continuous improvement.
We are looking for a passionate educator with the ability to deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that reflect the Computer Science curriculu
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and interventions where needed
Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular clubs or digital literacy initiatives
Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and collaborative projects
Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of students is a priority at all times
What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level (KS3 & KS4) is desirable
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with current curriculum standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, flexible, and reflective teaching approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
