Computer Science Teacher
Smile Education are currently working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Stone, who are seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join their team. This full-time role is set to start after October half term.

Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher role:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll teach a curriculum that develops students' skills in programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy, preparing them for a rapidly evolving digital world. You’ll also play a vital role in encouraging students to think creatively and critically about the role of technology in modern society.
To apply for this Computer Science role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
Specialism or teaching experience in Computer Science or ICT
Strong subject knowledge in programming (e.g. Python, Java, Scratch) and key theoretical concepts
Ability to deliver engaging lessons that stretch and support students of all abilities
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A collaborative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
