Aspire People are seeking a motivated Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Shrewsbury for a January start. The school is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can teach KS3 and KS4 Computer Science, helping to inspire the next generation of tech innovators.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT with a passion for computing and a strong ability to deliver engaging lessons that support the school's growing Computer Science department. The role can be 4 or 5 days per week, providing flexibility to suit the right candidate.
The role:
Teach Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5 for a suitably qualified candidate)
Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students and develop their computing skills
Support students through exam preparation and coursework
Collaborate with the department to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching methods
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (for ECTs)
Have experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
Be passionate about computing and technology, with a desire to inspire students
Be able to create engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students
Be reliable, organised, and able to contribute to the school's wider community
