Location: Rotherham
Contract Type: Temporary (4–6 weeks)
Hours: 20.52 hours per week
Pay Rate: Up to £55 per hour

Overview

Our client, a reputable educational provider based in Rotherham, is currently seeking a temporary Computing Lecturer to support delivery across Level 2 programmes.

This short-term assignment (4–6 weeks) is ideal for an experienced computing professional with teaching experience who can make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

  * Deliver high-quality teaching across Level 2 Computing courses.

  * Plan and prepare engaging lessons aligned with curriculum requirements.

  * Assess learner work and provide clear, constructive feedback.

  * Support learners across a range of computing disciplines, adapting delivery to different learning needs.

  * Maintain accurate records in line with internal quality standards.

  * Work closely with curriculum managers to ensure continuity during the cover

Requirements

  * Relevant degree-level qualification in Computing or a related subject (must be above Level 3).

  * Recognised teaching qualification.

  * Experience teaching computing in an FE or similar education setting.

  * Ability to deliver confidently at Level 2.

  * Enhanced DBS that is surrent and valid
