Chassis / Suspension Engineer (12-Month Contract)
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
Start Date: January
We are seeking an experienced Chassis / Suspension Engineer to join a established Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive projects and contribute to the development of future vehicle platforms.
Description of the assignment
Support the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team in studying current and future platform concepts
Work closely with the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team and attribute teams to align suspension system performance
Represent the suspension and chassis systems in the packaging and project meetings
Create and update concept and platform parts in CAD with consideration for industrialization
Build and analyse kinematic models for package studies
Organize and maintain data in TeamCenter
Perform Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) analysis on suspension layouts
Qualifications and skills required for the role:
Minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3-year experience from Chassis System Development.
A strong understanding of technical development of chassis systems and concepts.
To be able to balance attribute requirements (mainly NVH, Vehicle Dynamics, Durability, Corrosion and Brakes).
Experience of multiple suspension systems layouts
