Job Description
Our Engineering and Manufacturing client are currently seeking technically skilled Configuration Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities
This responsibilities of this role with include interpreting manufacturing drawings, Product Data Management and configuring business systems to support product configuration,
Duties:
* Review and interpret manufacturing drawings in flat pattern and 3D formats
* Configure business systems and workflows related to Product configuration and rules logic, Estimating templates, Bill of Materials.
* Utilise systems for automating SolidWorks designs
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the optimisation of the configuration and manufacturing process.
Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 2+ years of experience in a configuration engineering, CAD administration, or technical documentation role.
* PC Literate (MS Excel)
* Experienced in SolidWorks or 3D modelling and understanding of flat pattern design.
