Job Description
A great opportunity for a Senior Configuration Engineer with experience working with and controlling product data with an eye for detail. Due to the nature of the business, we will require those who are UK or Dual UK national and able to obtain (or already hold) SC Level of clearance.
Coming from a product configuration experience background, you will work closely with a dedicated and close-knit team, providing support to many of the key business products. There is an excellent opportunity to develop your configuration skills as well as work towards professional accreditation. A company that truly values its employees.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
> Background in Configuration Control or Technical Data Management within a Defence or Aerospace industry (or similar)
> Experience in interpreting technical data and BoM for large and complex product assemblies.
> Familiar with principles of Configuration Management, preparing and handling CM documentation which is used to provide governance and control of project activities.
> Ability to support audits on suppliers, ensuring configuration management processes are observed throughout the supply chain.
> Ideally will have experience of PTC Windchill as a Product Lifecycle Management ToolBefore You Apply
