I am working closely with a South based Local Authority client as they recruit for an experienced Conservation Officer on an initial 3-month contract.
In this contract, you will need to provide advice to applicants, including observations on pre-applications and planning applications, conservation area consents, and negotiate on standalone listed building consent applications, recommending the most appropriate course of action. A deep and solid experience of the planning process is vital along with experience in dealing with the implications of development and other proposals for change on listed buildings.
The role is remote-based, with office presence preferred on a weekly basis but the LPA are relaxed and able to reduce this for candidates who live further away but possess right experience levels.
Carrington West Pay Rate - £45 per/hour
Job Ref - 59389
