Construction/Vocational Access Course Lecturers needed NOW
Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf
Pay: £28.00 - £40.00 per hour (depending on subject and experience)
Empowering Learning are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Construction Lecturers to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of vocational access courses within Further Education colleges across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and train the next generation of construction professionals, supporting learners aged 16+ as they work towards Level 3 qualifications in the construction trades.
Areas of Delivery May Include:
Bricklaying & Groundworks / Civil Engineering Operations
Carpentry & Joinery (Site or Bench)
Painting & Decorating
Plastering & Dry Lining
Roofing Occupations
Wall & Floor Tiling
Electrotechnical / Plumbing / Heating / Ventilation (Building Services Engineering)
Construction Design & Management / Quantity Surveying / Architectural Technologies
General Construction & the Built Environment (introductory multi-trade work)Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, practical lessons in construction and related subjects
Plan, prepare, and assess coursework and workshops
Support learners in developing technical, safety, and employability skills
Ensure high standards of health and safety at all timesAbout You:
Qualified in Construction or a related trade (Level 4+ desirable)
Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTLS) or willingness to work towards one
Relevant industry experience
