Are you an experienced MEP construction professional looking to work on a major UK infrastructure project?
Do you enjoy being on site, ensuring complex mechanical and electrical installations are delivered safely, to programme and to the highest quality standards?
Salary: £60,142.80 - £70,755.60 (DOE)
Location: Rickmansworth (site-based Mon to Fri with travel between sites)
Deadline: 18th August
I'm looking for a Construction Assurance Manager (MEP) to join a massive infrastructure project, supporting a section of the route near Rickmansworth.
This is a heavily site-based role overseeing the assurance of mechanical and electrical installation works across shafts, portal buildings and headhouses. You'll work closely with Project Managers and contractors throughout installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the delivery of a £160m MEP package on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects.
Essential Requirements:
Around 5-10 years' experience in MEP construction, installation, site supervision or construction assurance.
Experience overseeing mechanical and electrical installation works on major construction or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of systems such as HVAC, ventilation, ductwork, fire suppression, cable management, LV systems, lighting, alarms, pumps, BMS or security systems.
A background in construction assurance, project management or CDM.
Experience working under NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
A valid CSCS card.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
Preferred Requirements:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
SMSTS or similar site management qualifications.
Experience working on major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or utilities projects.
Rail experience isn't essential. I'm happy to speak with candidates from any sector who have strong MEP construction experience and enjoy working in a site-based assurance role.
If you're looking to join a long-term infrastructure programme where you'll play a key role in delivering major MEP installations, I'd love to hear from you.
