Construction Buyer | Dundee
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE
Hours: Mon - Fri
Work type: Office Based
Search is delighted to be partnering with a well-established construction company to recruit a talented and proactive Construction Buyer for their Dundee-based team.
You'll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier relationships for construction materials and services. Your work will directly support project delivery and ensure procurement is aligned with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Procuring materials and services for construction sites
Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers
Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance
Sourcing and onboarding new suppliers
Managing purchase orders and maintaining procurement records
Collaborating with internal teams including site managers and project leads What We're Looking For:
Proven experience buying materials and services for construction projects
Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
Ability to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery
Strong understanding of budgets, cost control, and project timelines
