Are you a commercially minded Buyer with experience in construction or building materials? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading construction company known for delivering high-quality projects across the UK. 🔍 The Role:
As a Buyer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials and services. You will work closely with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to support multiple live construction sites.

Sourcing and purchasing materials and services in line with project needs

Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to secure best value

Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships

Monitoring stock levels and delivery schedules

Working collaboratively with site teams and the commercial department

Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies
✅ Requirements:

Proven experience in a Buyer or Procurement role, ideally within construction

Strong negotiation and communication skills
*
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
*
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office
*
Knowledge of building materials and supply chains is highly desirable
