Salary: Up to £120,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Director with a strong background in residential groundworks to join a well-established and fast-growing construction company based in Birmingham. This is a pivotal leadership position where you will oversee multiple projects, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in the strategic direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage groundworks operations across multiple residential sites
*
Develop and implement efficient project delivery strategies
*
Ensure all projects meet quality, safety, budget, and timeline targets
*
Work closely with the commercial, design, and operations teams
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
*
Mentor and develop project managers and site teams
*
Contribute to the business growth strategy and future tendering
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Construction Director or Senior Contracts Manager within residential groundworks
*
Strong leadership skills with a track record of delivering multi-site developments
*
Deep understanding of groundworks, infrastructure, and civils within housebuilding
*
Commercially astute with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
*
Strong communicator and team leader
*
Full UK driving licence
