Construction Lecturers – FE Colleges (Wigan)

Location: Wigan
 Salary: Competitive rates – dependent on experience
 Start date: September

TeacherActive are currently working in partnership with a number of Further Education colleges across the North West to recruit Construction Lecturers across a range of construction trades.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced tradespeople looking to move into teaching, or qualified lecturers seeking their next role within Further Education.

We are recruiting lecturers in:

Brickwork

Carpentry & Joinery

Plumbing

Electrical Installation

Painting & Decorating

Plastering

Multi-skills / Construction Operations

The Role:

Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons to learners

Plan, prepare and assess learning outcomes

Support and motivate students to achieve their full potential

Maintain high standards of classroom and workshop management

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Strong industry experience in a construction trade

Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards one

A passion for education and learner development

Excellent communication and organisational skills
