Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Manager to join a leading construction main contractor delivering a flagship £35m hotel development in Manchester. This high-profile scheme will create a large-scale city centre hotel and represents a major investment within the regional construction market.

The successful Construction Manager will play a key role on site, operating in a position similar to a Senior Site Manager while reporting directly to the Project Manager. This Construction Manager role offers the chance to work on a landmark hospitality project while developing leadership experience on a major build.

If you are an experienced Construction Manager looking to take ownership of a significant package on a large-scale project, this role offers the platform to showcase your leadership, coordination and delivery skills within a respected construction environment.

Responsibilities

As Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the project progresses safely, efficiently and to programme. You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to ensure the highest standards of construction delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing day-to-day site operations as Construction Manager on a £35m hotel scheme

Coordinating subcontractors and site teams to maintain programme targets

Ensuring all health and safety standards are upheld on site

Monitoring quality control and ensuring works meet specification

Supporting the Project Manager with planning, logistics and reporting

Leading site meetings and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders

Identifying risks and proactively resolving construction challenges
This Construction Manager role requires strong site leadership and the ability to drive progress across multiple workstreams on a busy city centre construction project.
