About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager to join our growing data centre delivery team. This Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager role will oversee the installation, coordination, documentation, and delivery of electrical or mechanical systems on large-scale, mission-critical projects.

As an Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, fully documented, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage and oversee all on-site activities as an Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager

  * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams

  * Monitor project schedules, progress, and performance

  * Ensure compliance with health & safety standards

  * Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

  * Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks

  * Identify risks and implement mitigation measures

  * Lead site meetings and report progress to senior management

  * Support commissioning, testing, and project handover

  * Manage RFIs, submittals, and drawing revisions

  * Ensure correct document control and version management on site

  * Maintain accurate site records, reports, and as-built documentation

Requirements

  * Proven experience working as an Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager on data centre or mission-critical projects

  * Strong knowledge of MEP systems (power, HVAC, cooling)

  * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams

  * Understanding of construction delivery and sequencing

  * Strong document control and reporting experience

  * Excellent leadership and communication skills

  * Relevant engineering qualification preferred

  * Knowledge of health & safety regulations

Desirable

  * Experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Construction Manager on hyperscale or large data centre projects

  * Knowledge of commissioning and integrated systems testing

  * SMSTS, CSCS, or First Aid certification
