Job Description

Freelance Construction Manager Required – CAT B Fit-Out – 16 Weeks

We are looking for a strong freelance Construction Manager for a 16-week CAT B fit-out project in the West End.

The ideal candidate needs to be client-facing and professional, with the ability to communicate well with the client team, subcontractors, and internal delivery team. However, the most important requirement is a strong hands-on fit-out/build knowledge and the ability to properly manage the trades on site.

This role will require someone who is confident in the day-to-day micro management of subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the required quality standard.

Key Requirements

  * Strong CAT B fit-out experience - Projects over £2m

  * Able to actively manage and coordinate trades on site

  * Client-facing with good communication skills

  * Good approach to health & safety

  * Able to use Procore to a moderate level

  * Strong eye for quality and detail

  * Able to push subcontractors and keep the programme moving
