Job Description
Site Manager – High-End Private Residential Project – Esher, Surrey
Start Date: Mid to End of October 2025
Duration: Approx. 14 months
Day Rate: Up to £300 per day (self-employed)
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operations on-site for the construction of a luxury 7,000 sq.ft private home in Esher.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of site-based delivery on a one-off high-end residential project.
🔧 Role & Responsibilities:
*
Oversee and manage subcontractors on site
*
Ensure works are carried out to high standards of quality and in accordance with the programme
*
Maintain a safe and organised site at all times
*
Monitor workmanship and progress, reporting issues or delays
*
Liaise with client team and consultants on technical and practical matters
*
Implement health & safety requirements in collaboration with our external H&S consultant
*
Keep records of site activity, deliveries, inspections, and progress
✅ Requirements:
*
Proven experience as Site Manager on similar luxury residential projects
*
Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills
*
Able to assess workmanship and anticipate build issues
*
Strong understanding of sequencing, buildability, and H&S
*
Own transport
*
Self-employed / CIS or Ltd company preferred
*
Able to work independently and lead from the front
*
Must have or be willing to obtain:
*
CITB SMSTS Certificate
*
IOSH Managing Safely
