Are you a skilled multi trade person? and ready to use your construction skills to lay the foundations for the next generation of skilled professionals?
We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Vocational Tutor (Construction) to deliver high-quality, engaging training that inspires learners to achieve their potential and thrive in the world of work.
Based at Rochdale Skills Construction Centre, you’ll be part of a dedicated, supportive team that’s committed to helping learners build the confidence, knowledge, and hands-on expertise they need to succeed in the construction industry.
What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver engaging and practical training that brings construction skills to life.
*
Inspire, motivate, and support learners to achieve their goals and stay on track.
*
Design and plan creative learning programmes, using modern technologies and platforms.
*
Assess, guide, and provide meaningful feedback to help every learner reach their full potential.
*
Promote your courses and help us grow – ensuring every learner finds the right path to success.
*
Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
What You’ll Bring
*
A recognised Construction qualification (Level 1 or above).
*
A Teaching qualification (Level 4 or above) – e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, etc.
*
Maths and English Level 2 (GCSE or Functional Skills).
*
Industry experience and a passion for passing on your expertise.
*
Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills.
*
The ability to inspire and engage learners from all backgrounds.
