Location: Derby, UK
Contract Type: Substantive (Permanent) or Fixed-Term Considered
Salary: £105,000 – £139,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role: As a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine, you will:
Deliver comprehensive, high-quality care for older adults across acute, frailty, and community settings
Lead and support frailty assessments, complex discharge planning, and multidisciplinary care coordination
Develop and lead pathways in frailty, falls, dementia, or ortho-geriatrics depending on your subspecialty interests
Play an active role in teaching, research, and service development
Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiativesWhat We’re Looking For:
Full GMC registration with entry on the Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT)
CCT in Geriatric Medicine (or equivalent overseas qualifications)
Clinical expertise in managing complex, multimorbid patients
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and leading service improvements
Excellent communication and leadership skills
