ProfDoc is urgently seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrists to support a significant increase in demand for specialist mental health assessments. This role offers a highly competitive hourly rate and the flexibility to work remotely or on-site within the Herefordshire area.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric assessments and consultations, particularly in the areas of neurodevelopmental disorders. Your clinical insight will play a crucial role in improving diagnostic clarity and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments
*
Special focus on patients with ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*
Prepare clear, structured, and timely reports
*
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams when needed
*
Maintain up-to-date clinical records in compliance with professional standards
Requirements
*
GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist
*
Experience with ADHD and ASD assessments is highly desirable
*
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
*
Comfortable working independently in a remote or on-site setting
