Consultant Social Worker – Family Safeguarding Team – Hertfordshire
Intro:
Are you an experienced and dedicated Social Worker looking for your next opportunity? Hertfordshire are seeking Qualified Social Workers to join their East Family Safeguarding Teams, with vacancies available in Stevenage and North Herts. This is a case-holding role with support provided to Team Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a mixed caseload of up to 18 CIN/CP cases.
*
Complete thorough assessments and prepare reports for court and care proceedings.
*
Carry out safeguarding duties, including home and school visits (mainly doorstep visits).
*
Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with UK legislation and local policies.
Essential Requirements:
*
Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified experience.
*
Strong safeguarding experience, including CIN, CP, and court work.
*
Proven ability to complete competent assessments with excellent written and communication skills.
*
SWE Registration and Right to Work in the UK.
Special Conditions:
*
All teams operate remotely, however, home and school visits are required.
*
Risk assessments are completed prior to visits taking place.
