Join Our Team as a Container Unloader in Telford
We are currently seeking 8 reliable and physically fit individuals to join a busy logistics team in Telford as container unloaders. This role is ideal for those who enjoy manual, active work and are looking for immediate employment.
As a container unloader, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain, helping ensure goods are unloaded and processed efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on position that requires strength, stamina, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
In your role as a container unloader, you will be expected to:
Unload goods from shipping containers manually
Handle and move stock safely, using proper lifting techniques
Check goods for damage and report any discrepancies
Sort and stack items onto pallets or designated areas
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Follow all site health and safety protocols at all timesThis is a fast-paced role where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. You'll work closely with other container unloaders and warehouse staff to meet daily deadlines and productivity goals.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this container unloader position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Good physical fitness - the work involves lifting, bending, and manual handling
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Strong timekeeping and reliability
Comfortable working in a physical, industrial environment
Previous warehouse or manual handling experience is desirable but not essentialEssential PPE: Safety boots and a high-visibility vest must be worn on site.
